Carlos Simpson is a London-based designer, author, artist, musician, entrepreneur and executive mentor. His work explores the relationship between identity, creativity, behaviour and human potential across design, publishing, visual art, music and human development.

He graduated in graphic design from the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol) in 2011 and completed a professional placement at Research Studios in London under the direction of Neville Brody.

As the author of Signs of Fingerprints, Carlos Simpson examines fingerprints not only as biological identifiers but also as symbols of individuality, human difference and personal agency. His research brings together observations from design, psychology, culture and human behaviour to explore broader questions of identity and self-understanding.

Through books, articles, visual projects and public engagement, he continues to investigate the unique characteristics that shape human experience and individual potential.
